Organizing kitchen

1. The first rule to declutter and organize anything is, discard anything that you don't use now or won't be using in near future. The same goes with organizing kitchen. Removing the useless items will make your kitchen not only neat but also more efficient.

2. Store the items that you don't use often, in a cupboard. Remove them from the countertop.

 

3. Put things like knives, cleaning chemicals out of reach of children.

4. Store cake pans, baking sheets etc. in a cabinet near oven.

5. Store all your spices on Lazy Susans near your stove.

6. Store your silverware and dishes near dishwasher.

7. Drawer dividers are a great help in organizing utensils

9. If your kitchen is set up as a triangle, keep those paths free of obstacles like trash cans etc.

10. Avoid storing cookware and food in the same cabinet.

11. Clean your cabinets and throw away perishable food that has gone bad. Even non-perishable foods should be checked from time to time lest they become too old or stale.

12. Use stepped shelving to use the back space of a deep cabinet.
